NCAFA TACKLE

Youth tackle football is a structured, team‑based sport where players learn the fundamentals of contact football in a safe, age‑appropriate environment. Athletes build their skills by learning positions, offensive and defensive plays, safe blocking techniques, and proper tackling form—all supported by trained coaching staff.

The Cumberland Panthers competitive tackle program emphasizes:

  • Skill development
  • Teamwork
  • Discipline
  • Fun

Beyond the sport itself, youth tackle football fosters physical fitness, confidence, resilience, and strong friendships, helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.

Eligibility – 2026 Season

Eligibility is based on the athlete’s year of birth:

  • U10 – Tyke: 2017–2018
  • U12 – Mosquito: 2015–2016
