Flag Football with the Cumberland Panthers
Flag football is an exciting, accessible sport—perfect for both newcomers to football and experienced players looking to sharpen their skills. Our program focuses on fun, development, teamwork, and building confidence on the field.
Age Groups & Divisions
- U8 – Coed
- U10 – Coed
- U12 – Boys & Girls (separate teams)
- U14 – Boys & Girls (separate teams)
- U16 – Boys & Girls (separate teams)
- U20 – Girls
Co-ed and Boys Program
Registration for Coed and Boys programs open February 1, and with last year’s flag program reaching a waitlist, we encourage families to register early to secure a spot.
Both our co-ed and boys flag and tackle programs are part of the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA), which means teams are territory‑based.Families can check the NCAFA boundary map to confirm whether their child falls within the Cumberland Panthers territory.
Season Details
- Season start: Late April/May (as soon as the fields are dry enough for play)
- Season end: Late June
- Practices: Twice a week
- Games: Saturdays starting in May
- Practice location: Millennium Park
- Game locations: Various fields within NCAFA territory
